But then, the owners are highly experienced, with 30 years in the food and beverage industry and running seven successful restaurants.

Housed in a uniquely-designed building, Summerhouse Steak and Seafood is one of the top among more than 60 restaurants in and near Siesta Key Village.

Summerhouse is located at 149 Avenida Messina, near the main avenues of Beach Road and Ocean Boulevard. If you’re visiting Siesta Key Village, you can walk from any of the shops, boutiques, or markets. What to Expect

From its “museum quality” custom-designed 1,000-gallon, 14-foot-long fish tank to its celebrated cocktails, you are in for visual and delicious treats when you visit Summerhouse Steak and Seafood. In a relaxed, elegant atmosphere, you’ll enjoy outdoor views through the restaurant’s tall windows or sit at the stunning modern bar and sip wine or one of many handcrafted cocktails. No matter where you sit, you’ll have a view of that magnificent fish tank!

Regarding food, you can expect a great variety of seafood dishes, such as blackened grouper, scallops, apple balsamic glazed Scottish salmon, Maine lobster, and lobster tail. There are also chicken, lamb, and braised short-rib entrees. Steaks range from six to 16 oz. There is filet mignon, New York strip, prime Angus ribeye, and top sirloin. The menu also offers a 40-oz. Porterhouse steak for two. Steaks are specially selected and hand-cut from prestigious ranches, cooked to perfection on a 1200-degree Montague Grill. All steaks are aged for 40 days for maximum flavor and tenderness.

To start, appetizers include a shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller, crab cake, lobscargot, raw or broiled oysters, prime meatballs Pomodoro, or a seafood platter. Notable signature sides include Boursin mashed potatoes and a cast iron vegetable bouquet. There’s also lobster truffle and five cheese mac, shaved bourbon bacon brussels, lobster Grana Padano risotto, and handcrafted Wagyu beef fat French fries. Desserts include mouthwatering pineapple upside-down cake, specialty chocolate cake, and a key lime tart.
