This luxury home on Lido Key has a phenomenal location, just steps from the world renown white sand beaches of Lido Key that are known for their ‘shelling’, and just a short bike ride (4-min) or enjoyable walk to St. Armand’s Circle (10-min) where you’ll have access to Lido Key’s best restaurants, shops, entertainment, and more! Everything is walkable! There is something for everyone in St. Armand’s Circle, from arcades and restaurants to high end retail, and it’s always a guest favorite. You’re also just a quick drive or Uber/Lyft to downtown Sarasota for access to the amazing Sarasota Performing Arts scene, as well as more fantastic restaurants, shops, marinas, entertainment, and more. And, day trips to Siesta Key and Anna Maria Island, as well as the amazing theme parks of Tampa and Orlando, are all just within 30 minutes to 2 hours away!

This home was built with your vacation in mind, and when paired with our unmatched service and amenities, and its amazing location, this home offers one special experience and value! Let’s start with the exterior entertainment spaces via the covered patios, pool area, balconies, and roof top deck. The pool area will make lasting memories for you and your family, with an oversized resort style, saltwater heated pool and spa, sun shelf, bubblers and lights, and a waterslide! The covered patio has a large smart TV, seating and dining, ping pong, and an outdoor grill. All of this sits within the fenced back yard filled with lush native landscaping for privacy and security. The home is family friendly, and the back yard is perfect for the home’s pet friendly policy (fees and restrictions apply). As you go up to the levels above, you’ll find multiple balconies and a roof top deck with seating and amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico, Lido Key Beach, St. Armand’s Circle, and the downtown Sarasota skyline.

Once inside this home’s nearly 3,300 square feet of interior living space, you’ll notice the coastal interior design, quality craftsmanship, and connected floor plan. This home provides 6 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, and 5 of the 6 bedrooms provide balcony access. The home also offers 6 full baths and 1 half bath. The home comfortably sleeps 16 persons in beds via 5 king beds, 1 full over full bunk bed, and 1 twin over twin bunk bed. The great room includes the chef’s kitchen with beverage bar, living space, and dining areas of the home. The chef’s kitchen and beverage bar are fully stocked with all the products and manufacturers that you’ve told us you want in your guest feedback! This home also has a club room, or secondary living space. Just off the great room and club room spaces you’ll find oversized balconies with seating and dining.

This Lido Key luxury vacation rental features Smart TVs with cable and streaming services, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the property - including the outside areas for complete coverage for all your work or personal needs. TV in all bedrooms.

Accessibility - in addition to the home’s elevator access to all levels (except rooftop deck), most doorways and walkways are 30 inches or larger, and walk-in showers in Bath 1-4. Please see the Photos, 3D Tour, & Video for this home.

Floor Plan Description:

Ground Level:

This home provides free parking for up to 4 vehicles (2 covered and 2 in driveway). The home’s beach equipment is stored in the pool patio, which includes 2 beach wagons, 2 coolers, 6 beach chairs, and 4 bikes. We include a full refrigerator and deep freezer here as well for easy storage of food, drinks, and ice, so your beach prep and breakdown, and your use of the home and pool is that much easier as well. The ground level space features the fully fenced pool and back yard area, including the covered patio space. You’ll find yourself at the pool and covered patio constantly as the pool provides so much, and the adjacent covered patio includes an open floor plan with soft seating, dining table for 8 persons, a large smart TV, ping pong, and an outdoor grill (natural gas) for the perfect outdoor living space. There are ceiling fans throughout this space for added comfort. From the ground level, you’ll also access the home’s main entrance foyer with elevator to the home's two (2) living levels above and stairs to all floors including the rooftop deck.

The First Level of Living (2nd Floor):

Features the Great Room with fully stocked chef’s kitchen that includes: a full-sized refrigerator and freezer (with ice maker), dishwasher, wall mounted double ovens, oversized cooktop with vent hood, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. It is very well appointed with cookware, bakeware, dishware, cutlery, and specialty items like crockpots, blenders, and more. If you have any questions on kitchen supplies, our reservationists would be happy to provide more details. The great room also includes a custom dining table for 8, island bar top seating for 6, and a living room with a smart TV, and a half-bath. There is a balcony off this space, offering additional dining for 6 and other seating options. There are 3 bedrooms on this floor. Bedrooms 3 and 4 feature king beds, both with balcony access and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Bedroom 6, the bunk room, features 2 sets of custom-built bunk beds, a full over full bunk bed and a twin over twin bunk bed. This bunk room has an en-suite bathroom that has a vanity and shower/tub combination. The laundry room with 2 stackable washer/dryer units and a half bath are on this level as well.

The Second Level of Living (3rd Floor):

The club room, or secondary living area, is featured on this level. It provides a wet bar, beverage fridge, foosball table, a living area with a large TV and gaming consoles - Nintendo and PS4. The club room has access to a large balcony space with seating and access to the rooftop deck (via spiral stairs), providing stunning Gulf of Mexico, Lido Key, and downtown Sarasota views. There are also 3 bedrooms on this floor, including the 2 master bedrooms. Master bedroom 1 offers balcony access with seating and rooftop deck access, and features a king bed, large closet, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with double vanities, large shower, free-standing bathtub. Master bedroom 2 is similar in size and offerings. It includes balcony access, a king bed, walk-in closet, and a well-appointed en-suite bathroom with double vanities and a large shower with a ceiling mounted rain shower head. Bedroom 5 features a king bed, rear balcony access, and an en-suite bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combination.

Rooftop Deck:

Sunset and Gulf views can be expected from this elevated rooftop space. This quaint balcony space provides seating and views and provides the perfect space for enjoying sunrises and sunsets, and open views of Lido Key, St. Armand’s Circle, the Gulf of Mexico, and the downtown Sarasota skyline.

"We had a wonderful time at Shore Thing in Lido Key. Fourteen of us had a family vacation just two minutes walk from the beach. Very convenient location. We had specific needs since grandma is in a wheelchair, and this worked so well with the elevator. Having a large enough area on the main floor and by the pool was key for us to enjoy meals together. The bunk room had a second bunk added which worked well for four kids to share. Sunsets from the rooftop were beautiful. Any issues we had were taken care of promptly and with a smile. We would highly recommend using Vunique for your house rental. Thank you!

A Perfect Stay!

"Thank you so much for a perfect stay my extended family ( my family of 4, 2 sisters and their families, with kids ranging from 6 to 14 years) as we celebrated Grandpa Mel's 80th birthday over Thanksgiving. The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Kitchen very well stocked to host several large family dinners. Location was more perfect than Literally a 2-minute walk to the beach, and nice saunter to St. Armand's Circle, and just a few minutes drive to downtown Sarasota to go grocery shopping or go out to eat. The hot tub heater broke one night and Vunique was immediately responsive, sending maintenance over the very next morning. We definitely hope to come back soon! (VRBO Guest)

"We just finished a 1 week stay to celebrate my wife’s birthday. There was plenty of room for 10 of us. The quality of the appliances, corn hole board, pans, etc was top notch. "Shore Thing was awsome. This place has everything you want and more. Very private and the beach is a block away. "The Vunique house on Lido Key, Shore Thing, was the PERFECT getaway for our family – adults and children alike. The pool was the standout feature of this beach house. It was meticulously maintained and provided a refreshing escape from the Florida heat. From watching sports and movies on the outdoor TV, to using the slide and water features over and over again, it was comfortable and relaxing in the sun and shade. Throughout our week, it was the details that made it different from other houses. There were beach wagons and coolers for beach days and the high-end appliances made meal prep a pleasure. In fact, the more you look, the more you see the incredible attention to detail – from the local artwork on the walls to the comfortable furniture on the roof top deck. We also had a blast with the fun details – the foosball table, the multiple wet bars, and the video game systems were all awesome surprises.The house was spacious, luxurious, and up to date with every detail. The team at Vunique was incredibly responsive, polite, and made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked in the door. The location was perfect – right near the beach and a short distance to St. Armands circle for delicious food and ice cream.What a perfect place for families to have a great, relaxing vacation – and a luxurious setting for us to gather, laugh, and share memories. I can’t imagine using any other company for our next stay, this was the best of the best in service and accommodations. Seriously. It’s that good. We can’t wait for our next vacation with Vunique. Thanks for helping us make such great memories, we enjoyed every moment!

Amazing House!

"Amazing house! You won't regret booking this place. Soooo much room. We had a party of 11 and never felt like space was an issue! Bottom floor has covered parking for two vehicles, entrance to the stairs and the elevator, as well as a sliding glass door that accesses the pool area. Second floor is the main living room and kitchen with a balcony overlooking the pool. Also on the second floor there is a shared bathroom, the laundry room (two washers and two dryers), a bedroom with a full size bunk bed, and two more bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms! On the third floor there is a master suite on one end, and two smaller size bedrooms on the other end with a balcony overlooking the pool, and access to the rooftop deck. There is a shared living room on the 3rd floor that has a PS4 and a Super Nintendo, which is perfect for rainy days. The pool area is AMAZING!! Slide, hot tub, ping pong table, grill, tv, Alexa, refrigerator, out door shower, and plenty of seating. We had a major ping pong tournament....so fun! (I won!) You can get from the pool to the kitchen using an outdoor spiral staircase! In the pool area you will also find two wagons to take your beach gear in, as well as 6 beach chairs. There were also two small ice chests to use. One thing to note is there are no beach umbrellas, or beach toys. A lot of other beach houses we've stayed at usually have left over beach equipment to use from previous guests, but this one did not. (Maybe we were one of the first to stay, so maybe it hasn't accumulated yet). The house is so close to the beach! Only a couple minute walk. The beach at Lido Key is nice. Flat, sandy, and a LOT of seashells. Lido Key beach has a great complex right across the street from the house that includes bathrooms, concessions, and a pool. Overall, this house, the location, the beach, and the pool were the best I could have asked for! And we stay at a lot of beach houses! Book this house. You won't regret it! (Air BnB Guest)
